I LOVE a pesto just as much as the next person - but a seed cycling pesto?! This pesto seed cycling recipe is from our Seed Cycling Recipe Book. It is such an easy snack or addition to a pasta or vege dish. This seed cycling pesto is slightly thicker than your average pesto but the flavour is delicious!
The ingredients in this recipe promote heart health, normal liver functioning, protects against bacterial infections and is a natural anti-inflammatory.
This recipe has 5 seed cycling servings
Ingredients:
- Large handful basil leaves
- 3 Tbsp olive/almond/avocado oil
- 1/4 C cashews
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 4 Tbsp Seed Cycle Blend FOL blend
- 1 Tbsp grated parmesan (or nutritional yeast if vegan)
- 2 Roasted garlic cloves
Directions:
- In a small food processor combine all ingredients except half of the oil.
- Pulse ingredients together for 30 seconds or until your desired texture.
- Add oil and blend to get the desired consistency.
- To store use an airtight jar.
