Seed cycling is clinically proven to combat hormone imbalances in PCOS

Remember when meditation was a fad? It was "woo woo". Reserved for those donning linen threads and frolicking in the forest. But then someone bothered to investigate it scientifically. And now it's one of the most profound 'proven' ways to shift your mindset and impact your health. Seed cycling is on a similar path. First it's a trend, a silly little fad that people like to talk about on social media. But then someone bothers to research it scientifically and it moves into a different league of medically proven ways to positively impact your hormones.

Trust the science?

The term 'trust the science' got a little diluted over the covid years. The 'science' was different depending on who funded the study, the country it was in, the variables of the study and the desired outcomes. We ended up hearing 'question the science' as a counter argument. But I think we've arrived at a place where we are open to what studies have been done on particular topics and we are cautious about believing everything on face value. I'd say this a healthy way to discern 'the science'.

One source isn't enough

I share this - because although the clinical trials of seed cycling we're a third party study and received no funds, grants or support. It's still important to gather data and information from many sources not just one. Just like it's important not to buy Seed Cycle Blend or any health food for that matter without knowing what's happening in your body first. That's why we have our resident Nutritionist, Naturopath and Medical Herbalist Tayla to advise you on what tests to take to check what's happening instead of guessing. You can purchase an appointment here.

What was the clinical trial of seed cycling?

  • First published 25th of March 2023
  • Conducted by a group of researchers and scientists from Pakistan, Iraq and Indian.
  • They selected 90 women with PCOS
  • They split the women into three groups of 20:
    • Control group (no treatment)
    • Experimental group (administered Metformin - a common drug to treat PCOS)
    • Experimental group (administered Seed Cycling)
  • They followed a plan for 90 days depending on their group
  • The metrics they tested were:
    • Body weight
    • Hormone levels
    • Ovarian ultrasound
  • Seed cycling outperformed Metformin on majority of these metrics
  • The study concluded 'the seed cycling approach is effective and has significant results in women with PCOS. Seed cycling improves hormonal disturbance in women which promotes a healthy life.'

What do we do with this information?

Well, you can do whatever you want - but my suggestion is to get some more opinions. Whether it's from a doctor like Dr Kayla Milano or a natural health care practitioner like Tayla Made Nutrition who is knowledgeable on seed cycling. Or maybe it's combing through our reviews to see what real people's experience is with seed cycling.

Intuition isn't to be underestimated

After you've got everyone else's opinion tune back into yours. I know i've tried all sorts of 'out there' treatments and some were raved about, 'science backed' etc, but didn't work for me. Your body is so unique and even if something like seed cycling is now clinically proven, you can only really know it's effective when you try it.

And hopefully we make it easier to give it a go with a 90 day money back guarantee. Where if you try seed cycling for 90 days and you notice no changes, i'll personally give you your money back.

Terms and conditions apply to prove the consumption of seeds over 90 days. But still. You've got nothing to lose.

I'm still so excited that the clinical trials and research has begun on seed cycling. You can watch my excitement here. Because I know that this could free so many women from suffering with conditions like PCOS, menstrual cramps, acne, PMDD, endometriosis. Stay tuned as we watch out for more studies.
